On this page you can find an overview of all trainings, activities and more that WTOS has to offer!

Every week, you can join two or three road training sessions, including social rides in the area, interval training, or technique training on a closed cycling circuit. Mountain bikers can also enjoy a weekly training session on a nearby trail. Additionally, we organize many races ourselves: public events (such as the Regiocross, ZoMoCo, and Student Cup) as well as internal club championships and time trials, where you can test your form against other members or discover new races!

At WTOS, there’s plenty to do beyond cycling! We host monthly social events like drinks, dinners, and many other activities. Ready to travel? Every summer vacation, we go cycling in places like the Alps or the Pyrenees, there’s a training camp in Spain in February, and we take weekend trips to beautiful cycling areas in both spring and autumn. Looking to connect with people outside of cycling? There are many opportunities to get involved in committees, such as organizing WTOS races, training sessions, or events.

The annual membership fee is only €35 for student members and €55 for non-student members, and no X sports card is required. Convinced? Sign up here! For any questions, feel free to contact us. Training Sessions: WTOS offers road training sessions on Monday and Wednesday evenings. There are groups for different speeds, so whether you’re a beginner or an experienced racer, there’s always something for your level. Additionally, there are regular training sessions at nearby cycling tracks, focusing more on technique. On weekends, there are longer tours through the beautiful Dutch countryside, with a coffee stop, of course. More info about our training options can be found here.

Affordable clothing: WTOS has its own (beautiful blue) cycling gear, including cycling shorts, jerseys, time trial suits, wind vests, shoe covers, and much more. The clothing is produced by Vermarc, ensuring high quality. Since we place bulk orders a few times a year, we can offer members high-quality clothing at a low price. Additionally, members can order bottles, socks, arm warmers, and other handy items at cost price through the webshop.

Trips: Every summer, a group of WTOS members goes on a week-long trip to a beautiful cycling area, like the Pyrenees or the Alps. For competitive riders, there’s a training camp abroad during the university holidays. In addition, we organize an Intro Weekend in October and an Introduction Camp in May. These weekends are held in places like the Ardennes, Germany, Limburg, or another beautiful region, where besides cycling, you’ll also get to know other members!

Activities: Throughout the year, WTOS organizes events, often with no bike required. Beer-bike-beer races, pancake-eating contests, parties, dinners… there’s plenty of fun to be had outside of cycling! For a preview of the activities you can expect at WTOS, check out our Instagram!

Socials: Every two weeks, WTOS hosts a social, where, over a drink, the best stories are shared. This year, our socials take place at Nova on campus.

Club Magazine and Newsletter: Twice a year, the Corsa, WTOS’s club magazine, is published. It features stories about heroic performances, incredible misfortunes, and important information. Members also receive a monthly newsletter with upcoming events, the best quotes, and important announcements.

Committees: Got some time left besides studying and cycling and want to get to know members outside of cycling too? WTOS offers plenty of opportunities for committee work. For an overview of our committees, click here.

Car: WTOS owns a car equipped with a roof rack that can hold up to seven bikes. Members can borrow this car for a set price per kilometer for races, tours, weekend getaways, or other activities.

Discount at Bike-Components: Studying is already expensive, especially when combined with cycling or mountain biking. In Germany, you can buy replacement parts for your bike cheaply. WTOS has a deal with Bike-Components, where you get a 5% discount on the entire range and no shipping costs. A large order is placed every two weeks, making it more affordable than Dutch bike shops.

Surroundings: The area around Delft isn’t just greenhouses and polders. Within a 30 km radius, there are dunes, dikes, singletracks, technical descents, and many cycling courses. During tours and the mountain bike and road training sessions, you’ll get to know the area, and members will gladly show you the beautiful spots around Delft.

Toolbox: WTOS has an extensive toolbox that members can use for free. This way, you can avoid the high costs of a bike mechanic in many cases.

Races: More and more WTOS members are getting race licenses and participating in road, mountain bike, or cyclocross races. Races are held at the national and regional levels, with international races a few times a year. Besides racing, the team spirit and camaraderie before and after races are strong. Many training races are also organized around Delft. We also host internal races that are ideal for beginner racers, such as the club championships for road, mountain bike, or cyclocross, and various time trials. Racing with WTOS is possible whether you’re an experienced racer or just starting out! For more information, click here.

WhatsApp Groups: WTOS has WhatsApp groups to keep all members updated about all training sessions, tours, and races. After registering, you can find the link for this on the internal website or in the welcome email.
